Upstream Insurance Brokers and its predecessor company have a long history of community giving and involvement. We are committed to charitable donations approximating 10% of our corporate profit, before profit sharing. We have sponsored bike rides for the American Diabetes Assoc. (and sent employees as volunteers to that board); we have bought in excess of 20 steers from junior exhibitors at the Livestock Show and Rodeo, and raised in excess of $300,000 for kids there. Our team has raised gifts for The Women's Center, to provide relief to families in distress, and we are a past Charity Partner of the Shell Houston Open, sponsoring children's charities all over our community. We have used our office facility repeatedly to the benefit of numerous community organizations.
