Upstream Insurance Brokers and its predecessor company have a long history of community giving and involvement.
We are committed to charitable donations approximating 10% of our corporate profit, before profit sharing. We have sponsored bike rides for the American Diabetes Assoc. (and sent employees as volunteers to that board); we have purchased in excess of 20 steers from junior exhibitors at the Livestock Show and Rodeo, and raised more than $300,000 for kids there. Our team has raised gifts for The Women's center, to provide relief to families in distress, and we are a past charity partner of the Shell Houston Open, sponsoring children's charities all over our community. We have used our office facility repeatedly to the benefit of numerous community organizations. Our organization was established to improve life and business for those around us – our clients, our employees and our company friends. So, it is only natural that we would extend this responsibility to include our community, and the diverse family of man therein.
